Yea, I don't the people downplaying 4K. Sure, it'll be awhile before it beomes the standard, but it Will happen eventually when prices drop, Just like 1080p is becoming the standard now. And I think with the success of the PS4 and its 1080p standard, people are going to want to upgrade their TVs, too.

Though, its funny to have people boasting about the difference of 4k on a 28" monitor, while others are trying to claim you need a huge TV to see the jump from 720p to 1080po, so the difference doesn't matter.

Yeah to those claiming you need a big tv: Think you can see the difference between 1080p and 4K, 10ft from a 100" screen? Well that's the same as sitting 2.8ft away from a 28" pc monitor.
Most people sit closer to a pc monitor than that. For me it's between 1.5ft to 2.1ft (sitting forward or back), comparable to a  133" to 186" screen at 10ft.

Now for tv's, if you get a 65" tv, you need to sit at about 4.5ft to get the same effect as 2ft from a 28" monitor. So really it's rather a 4k monitor instead of a big screen tv to see the difference.
