At 28" the benefits of 4K would be negligible, unless you press your nose against it.

Hahahaha.  OMG I just can't read these comments anymore with a straight face.  My laptop has a 13.3" screen, and the difference between 1080p and 720p is night and day.

If you can't tell the difference, you have bad eyes.  Period.

You're sitting too close.

I can tell the difference across the room.   Sorry your eyes suck.

EDIT: I actually just tested this.  I could tell the difference between 1080p and 720p from 9 feet away on a 23" monitor (Borderlands 2).  It really isn't hard.  Then keep in mind 1080p is 2.25x bigger, and not 4x bigger like 4K is...

Yea, I don't the people downplaying 4K. Sure, it'll be awhile before it beomes the standard, but it Will happen eventually when prices drop, Just like 1080p is becoming the standard now. And I think with the success of the PS4 and its 1080p standard, people are going to want to upgrade their TVs, too.

Though, its funny to have people boasting about the difference of 4k on a 28" monitor, while others are trying to claim you need a huge TV to see the jump from 720p to 1080po, so the difference doesn't matter.
