In a fixed size screen, how bigger is the resolution, smaller is the perceptual diference of resolution jump.
is like number of poligons.
so, i tend to think that 1080p to 4k is a smaller than 480p to 720 or 720 to 1080p...

Get one of those 27 inch 1080p screens and compare it to this one at 28 inches when it comes out. you will absolutely see a difference and it will be massive. i for one find 27 inch 1080p unusable as a computer monitor. At thar size and 1080p... that is much worse pixel density than 720p @ 13.3 inch notebook or 480p @ 3.5 inches (iphone 1)

is not exacly what im saying.

i said that in a fixed screen size, the diference between 480p to 720p is more noticiable than the difference between 1080p to 4k.
