yeah. even i that i love the game i can see the mechanic is broken in its core. or at least feels very repetitive and frustrating when you have to repeat pretty much everything multiple times

Amen. I just get so damn tired to redoing things, its really tedious. Time management is also stressful and doesn't allow you freedom to explore.

you guys are horrible at the game if you have to redo things. The weapons and temple masks stay with you going back in time

The fact that you have to go back in time at all is game-ruiningly tedious and annoying.
