Xbox has problems to gain traction in Germany due to the strong PC position.
Most Xbox hits, which were not released for Playstation (or were ported very late to PS-consoles), were also released for PC... often with added features, DLCs included, better graphics and/or much faster loading times.

Most playstation hits, which were not released for Xbox (or were ported very late to Xbox-consoles), were never ported to PC. From a PC gamers perspective, it made much more sense to buy a Sony or Nintendo console than a Xbox console.
