That said, even tying with Xbox One in America will be seen as a pretty big win for Sony after the bloodbath that was 360 vs PS3 there. Going by VGChartz numbers they currently hold a ~200k lead in the main Xbox stronghold. Sony will be more than happy with that while the rest of the world is choosing PS4. Almost two thirds of the Xbox One sales are coming from the US alone. When the holiday season is no more and we start to see the huge drops, the rest of the world simply arent going to be buying Xbox One in any meaningful number. Its already posting relatively poor numbers outside of the US. I think its gonna be quite similar to what we saw with Wii U sales wise up until Titanfall, where it will see a modest boost. And talking about countries yet to have a release, lets not forget what PS4 has in February shall we? |
Even factoring in Xbox One is $100 more expensive?
Less than impresive numbers outside US. EU has 1/3rd of PS4 available countries. nd Xbo One is outselling PS4 in Aus. Which I believe dint happen with last gen.
