Not sure if you guys seen this, but it's a QA with the devs on Sunset Overdrive. Around 29:10 they ask about the cloud and the way they answer makes it seem like they just want to use it for frequent updates.

Yeap... just content update like others games to since ever... not Cloud processing or anything like.

When they said the game will run offline the Cloud talk become useless.

BTW the games that uses Cloud processing/computing right now are PC MMOs or others online based games.... some shooters use too.

funny thing, forza 2 yes forza 2 already used local cloud computing you just needed to have additional xbox360's
