The most important one on that list is a New IP! Metroid, Star Fox, and F-Zero are great games, but Nintendo need to invest in a new IP. Nintendo have a great amount of IP's in each genre:

Action/ Action-Adventure: Metroid, Zelda, Star Fox, Eternal Darkness (not sure if Action-Adventure)
Racing: Diddy Kong racing, MK, F-Zero
Fighting: SSB, Punch Out
RPG: Pokemon, Earthbound (Not sure if RPG), X
Sports: Strikers charged and all other Mario Spin offs, Mario and Sonic at Olympic Games, Wii Sports
Srategy: Pikmin
Minigame collections: Mario Party, Wii Party
Platformers: Mario, DK, Kirby, Yoshi

The one type of game that Nintendo is in need of is a Military FPS. Why? Nintendo can appeal to "core" gamers with a 1080p 60fps FPS with a great story and great local and online multiplayer. Nintendo=Gameplay first! Imagine what Nintendo's innovation can do with the bland Military FPS genre. They can combine elements of modern FPS's with classic FPS's like Goldeneye!

What made me think of this, was an interview Miyamoto had a year back, where he said that he was interested in the elements of an FPS. Maybe that is his new IP? No one knows yet.

there's no such thing as  "military fps" genre.

Yeah, sorry, my bad. I wanted to just say FPS but some people will be like Metroid Prime was an FPS, which I know, but I wanted to specify what type of FPS.
