I owned two vizios. Mine right now is a 3D which i got for 250 USD... The quality is AWESOME and you cant get much cheaper.
brands i consider bad would be Element, Magnavox. Westinghouse (the blackfriday tvs)
brands I consider good would be samsung, sharp, sony, vizio... feel like im mussing one
