I'll argue with it. Donate the money to malarial relief instead. Malaria kills 2 million a year (vs AIDS's 3 million) but the difference is AIDS drugs costs $100 per person and Malaria drugs cost around 80 cents. Ergo, with the same amount of funding you can help a lot more people if you give to malaria.
Anyway, I say Nintendo invests in other companies. Buy 20% of Capcom, buy 10% of Toshiba, heck buy 5% of Intel or GE. That way in 20 years if Nintendo has a bad run in a paprticular generation it can continue to live off of it's investments and still pay the heating bills.
