As for open world games such as Fallout4 etc.. there is no way they will spend millions on a single player game that has access to these features on a console that will only sell half the number of games. i.e say fallout sells 10 million copies and 5 million is on PS4, why bother with OTT complex cloud features for the XBOX One only. Trust me when i say that they wont, not unless they are paid to do so by MS.

Interesting point.
However one has to understand that the "Cloud" are just Azure servers twicked to suport XOne feature. Any companie can hire any amount of dedicated servers and use them for their aplications. It´s not out of the world tech. You can run even Linux servers.
EA, Bethesda, Rockstar, all have enouth pockets to hire as many servers they wish. Hell, Sony could use Azure to suport their games.
If Sony block the use from PSN+ they could easely use Google or Amazon solutions, or build their own.
It would be very sad if the future of gaming is shorthanded for Sony´s unability to go online processing.
