As far as the PS4's library looking 'pitiful' if Uncharted doesn't release this year, that's making quite a few assumptions. First of all, I would argue that neither library looks like anything special right now. Outside of Titanfall and the next Halo, the X1 has no other games currently aimed at a 2014 release that are generating 'system selling buzz'. As far as I know, there is no official word on when we can expect Fable Legends or Quantum Break. That's even assuming that Titanfall and the next Halo are awesome games. If you want to try and convince me that Sunset Overdrive, Kinect Sports Rivals, or D4 will be amazeballs you're more than welcome to try but I'd advise not wasting your time. Will Infamous: Second Son and The Order: 1886 not be amazing? Possibly but there's also a decent chance that they will indeed be awesome and move some consoles. As far as titles that may not be system sellers but can certainly help fill out the roster there are plenty. Driveclub may surprise us and be more than just a racing filler for Gran Turismo. There are currently third-party multiplatform games that are announced for the PS4 and not the X1 such as Kingdom Under Fire II and Final Fantasy XIV which is actually proving successful. There are projects yet to be revealed for 2014 on the PS4 such as whatever nDreams is working on along with a number of rumored titles. We also can't forget the smaller games that collectively can make a big difference. Shadow of the Beast, Rime, and Helldivers are smaller games to watch for. Rime certainly has people curious. Then there is the huge list of digital-only games not published by Sony but thus far not announced for X1. Basically, saying that the PS4 needs Uncharted this year to have a good software lineup is being rather ignorant. |
i think you replied to the wrong guy
my presence is this thread was to point out the very flawed and ignorant statement that Destiny has ZERO hype.
