Silver Lining Playbooks seemed like an odd choice but then again...the internet is in love with Jennifer Lawrence. Also kind of surprising to see Gangster Squad so high up on the list. It wasn't that good of a movie nor did it have much buzz around it. I guess it benefited from being a January release...

Dude. Ryan Gosling

The cast was excellent (emma stone, giovanni ribisi, ryan gosling, josh brolin, etc) and the movie was beautifully shot. But overall it just fell short of expectations for me I guess. It's not a bad movie. Just not sure that it's worthy to be so high up on the list. 

Saw the trailer for it when I went to see Django and I thought : That looks like a good movie....but not "go to the theater" good.  I guess a lot of people agreed.  And, of course, it wasn't that good.  Stylish and fun but sorta fell apart as the film went on.
