Bayonetta looks good. But largely due to scale and better textures due to ram. If you stuck an extra 512mb of ram to the 9 year old 360 it wouldnt be too far behind trust me. As for 1080p60 I'll wait for digital foundry's verdict.

Except 360 doesn't have an extra 512MB of RAM. Or an extra 22MB of eDRAM. Or DX10/11 equivalent features in its GPU.

Yes, but if it DID you cant deny that Bayonetta 2 would look virtually the same on it now can you? Furthermore DX10/11 extentions dont magically make the GPU faster, they improve efficiency but not such a large extent. My old 5670HD was a DX11 card, however the DX10 4850HD still had more raw power and bested it in DX9, DX10 and DX11 benchmarks. You could add DX12, DX13, DX14 etc extentions and it still would get faster in any significant manner. Everyone knows about the Wii U CPU, vanilla 360 already bests that. The GPGPU excuse/theory is inline with extentions, doesnt provide a significant power boost over and above the GPUs base spower. Yes it has more eRAM, thats the only thing could stop it from beating an enhanced 360. Though if the 360 also had 32mb eram and DX11 extentions?

If the 360 had extra 512MB RAM, 22MB eDRAM, and DX10/11 features, then it would not be a 360 anymore.

Yes, but it would best the WiiU graphically thats for sure.

On topic, everything Bayonetta 2 does on Wii U (textures+scale) is largely due to the RAM. Its nice but from a purely technical standpoint its not so impressive given the age of the 360 and the enhancements facilitated only by ram if nothing else. As it stands no single game has shown the Wii Us gpu to be above of that of the 360 in terms of raw power, almost every enhancement seen so far is a result of extra ram or dev time. Why, because share the exact same geometry, exact same resolution and usually lower framrate. That doesnt scream power.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
