1)so only rational you approve of is grounds to deny something? oh yeah and extreme leftist and communists are among the biggest Holocaust deniers, the important point is that you can't deny well documented history it contributes to the decay of society, the damage to society as a whole is the same behind denying the Holocaust and denying the moon landing.

2)The engineering, design, and manufacture of all space equipment was sub-contracted through private industry for design and construction, they own the patents not nasa, the military doesn't own the patent on military vehicles the designer does, the same applies to Nasa no matter who you are you can't just crack open the patent office to appease a nut, find a professional mechanical engineering, they'll be able to explain the amount that the space program has contributed to the advancement of engineering and industry as a result of the space program and in particular the moon landing.

3) the third comment I made is basically the same as denying the moon landing if your going to start just assuming something didn't happen, the same can be done to everything?

4)if someone is wrong they need to be called out on it not respected, that be like allowing an engineer to ignore the laws of physics when design something because its their opinion, Recent history is very concrete and it needs to be preserved and not made ambiguous and vague by respecting the opinions of conspiracy theorists with too much free time on thier hands

1) Hmm not specifc rational, well documented where the proof is missing =:?

2) Possible :).

3) If people wants to believe in it why not?

4) Uhm one of the conditions to be a engineer is believing the law of physics... So in fact what you are saying is impossible You can't be a engineer if you don't believe in the law of physics :). Will the world change if people respect or don't respect Conspiracy theorists?

the proof of the space landing isn't missing,  the engineering record exists as I stated it is held by private industry, the space project was very public and the results, this is like not only not seeing the forest for the trees but pretending the forest isn't their all together, the moon landing isn't vague the only people who see missing evidence are people that decided it doesn't exist

and the holding of the records of the development are in private industry billions of dollars of innovation have been created for every dollar spent on the moon landing

as far as allowing people to believe what they want about recorded history is incredibly dangerous, to paraphrase Horace Mann people that don't remember their history are doomed to repeat it, well allowing people to alter history to fit their beliefs allows for a dangerous situation of people actually forgetting what happened, and a line needs to be drawn the moon landing and the details surrounding it are too well recorded and too much is known, this wasn't an ambigous event,

People can have an opinion on the indirect results of an event,  the indirect things that lead to an event but a recorded event it self can not be ignored, or changed.

and the last thing, yes an engineer must respect the laws of physics, but they theoritcally can still ignore the laws of physics and design things, and you know what happens when an engineer does that, FAILURE, they're design will fall apart, you'll get galloping gerty,  chernobyl , the Aural Sea, the love cannal, or any other of engineering failures and a member of a society is much like an engineer working in civilization, history is the law of civilization, and as such a member of society must respect their history to avoid allowing it to fall apart.

And the third thing I said in which I made up a bunch of idiotic statement about denying the existence of things, allowing that is almost criminal, it is what can lead to the destruction of society, the society the united states has really needs a well informed public, even if it doesn't appear to have one to some,

If the public can just make up its own recorded history than your falling a path to collapse of society, and if your the type of person that thinks anarchy will work, you really need to stop being a fool, anarchy is lays the foundation for tyranny,  Infrastructure and order keeps people intelligent and allows society to advance, the reason the middle ages was so bad was actually due exclusively to a lack of infrastructure, if you read your history when Charlamagne began to restore order education and the quality of life for people actually began to improve.

Therefore  their is an explict and present danger in allowing people to make up their own version of history, and by association their is a danger to respect the opinion of a conspiracy theorist nut ball, they need to be called out as wrong and every effort must be made to make sure that their deranged interpretations events are not given creedence, once you start respecting one's opinion it could eventually be accepted as fact, once that happens it opens the door for a more absurd skewing of history, and society steps on a slippery slope
