Sessler: Nintendo needs to change controller for Wii U to succeed

I also understand the other side of this. Nintendo could have shaved 180 bucks off the Wii U and just made a regular controller like EVERYBODY ELSE and made crazy profit. If Nintendo lives to sell another console in 2020, believe me... they won't make the same mistake. Let's just hope the new Zelda proves us wrong and gives us a real reason to experience the pad.

Anything that is in the vein of Skyrim is well worth the wait. The Wii U zelda director noted Skyrim in a Development talk. Skyward sword wasnt' worth the development time, I'll give you that.

Well, however the next Zelda turns out, Nintendo cannot afford to have it spend THAT much time in development, especially considering that in that case, it would be near the end of WiiU's life and thus automatically not sell as much as it could have if released earlier. They need it asap.
