Just don't forget that many players decided to buy mainly digital games with those next gen consoles.
Digital purchases, PSN Plus rented games (Resogun...) and lots of free games (Warframe, blacklight, DC Universe...) on PS4 may help to explain the low sales of traditional physical games.
