Did I say anything about the numbers? I said we need to stop listening to him, because every "analysis" he gives is actually PR. And this one is included, not because of the numbers themselves (although they're strangely specific for any sort of real prediction - 37.7 million?), but because of the assertion surrounding the numbers.

And the rest of Pachter's rationalisation doesn't make sense, anyway. He's paid to analyse, not to tell them how to "optimise strategy". For him to advise on that, he'd need to know the detailed inner workings of the company, and there's no way they'd give that level of information to him, especially if he has multiple clients. No, he provides analysis of trends, which is his job. And whenever he provides that analysis for free through the internet, etc, it's a worthless analysis.
