Wii U to rule in Japan: yay!

Wii u has gone from being doomed in Japan to now being predicted to rule in Japan... all in a matter of a few weeks. Geez.

It is doing better for sure. I don't buy into this idea that it is the only new console in Japan so that is why it is selling well. You either want something or you don't.

Not long ago people here were saying that rather than improve in sales it would do far worse and be blown away when the PS4 and XB1 launched in Europe and NA in November. This hasn't happened. It did far better than it was doing all year after the launch of the other two.
Now some say it would be blown away when PS4 launch in Japan. It would be outsold for sure but I doubt it would be blown away.

However, "ruling in Japan" is not likely and not important for Nintendo. Being relatively competitive in order to make profit should be a priority, and this applies to all regions. Ruling anywhere is out of the question.
