a few comments from people saying the article is wrong to say they are neck and neck since VGcharts has a decent gap between world wide sales of the 2  followed by people saying "lol vgchartz"  or "dont mention them here or youll get a 'lol vgchartz"'   the responses get tons of likes,  the original posts get none lol

Not necessarily, though: peak sales could be the same at Amazon, but cumulative ones could still be different if sustained sales were.
