The Kinect doesn't add anything to the gameplay experience and there really hasn't been any game that showcase the power of Kinect as a gaming peripheral. The Kinect bundled with Xbox one should only cost an extra $50 not worth the extra $100. I bet the Titan fall - Xbox One bundle will retail at $499, while the Xbox One get a price cut to $449.99 in March 2014. |
The reason Xbox One sells well at its price is called America. Microsoft has made a name for itself just like Sony in America, plus it has all the top third party games and people like the OS. The Kinect is worth $99. Its the PS Eye that is cheaper, but bundled with the Move tends to cost a little more. If Sony beats them worldwide they'll drop the Kinect though, but MS isnt willing to leave it to chance that the Kinect will sell the way they want it to without being bundled to the Xbox One. Again, everything Microsoft will do from this point on depends on how well Sony does. Microsoft will give no one any such bundle at $499 unless they drop the Kinect.
