I know it's a little bit off topic, but did you guys notice that apart from SM3DW there's no 8th gen game in top 10 for last two weeks?

As Seece pointed out, that's definitely overtracked, too.  SM3DW did 215K for it's launch month (Nov) in the US, which includes digital sales, too.  So, it's definitely less than 200k retail for Nov.  It selling 131K in just one week for Dec make no sense whatsoever.

Weak argument is weak. It did 100k FW in Japan and yet, it sold almost 90k just last week. Holiday sales always boost tremendously the sales of Nintendo products. Just look at the wiiU, it was selling an average of 2-3k in Japan, now it's selling 100k+.

Now obviously, you might be right that it's overtracked. But that doesn't mean your argument is correct either. You and Seece are just pointing out stuff without any proof whatsoever.

We could be wrong.  I'm not denying that.  Of course, you are looking at Japan.  Just because it rises, doesn't mean NA will.  Just like if it rises in NA, that doesn't mean it will rise in Japan.  Take Wii U and PS3 HW, for example.  November in the US is a huge shopping month, where sales increase exponentially compared to Oct.  Now the Wii U, a 1 year old console, only rose 160K over Oct (~60K).  That comes out to an increase of just 40K a week.  The PS3, a 7 year old console, rose 290K over Oct (~120K).  Or an increase of 70K per week.

If you look at Japan, however, the PS3 has risen in Dec (when Japan's shopping starts), but is only hovering ~25K.  The Wii U, however, has risen from ~30K at the end of Nov to ~100K just last week.  In other words, the Wii U is going to do fine in Japan, especially during the holidays.  But, its not setting the rest of the world on fire.  Nor is its SW sales.
