i consider BO1/2 to be a cruel excuse of a game, not just by CoD standards, but by any FPS game standard. 

Same. I got BO2 on launch and got to 3rd prestige, put it down and came back about a couple months later and the perks changed lol. I'm not sure about BO1 but BO2 was the definition of an unfinshed, odd-placed hitbox of a game.

Edit - Don't get me wrong, I still had alot of fun with it, and it was fresh, but like someone else said in the thread, a yearly release is depreciating the brand (due to various reasons) of CoD year by year.
