Star Fox sales haven't met expectations because they haven't put out a worthwhile game bearing that title since Star Fox 64. Star Fox on SNES and Star Fox 64 are both great games, and were successful for Nintendo.

If they want to do Star Fox RIGHT, they will do Star Fox the only way it SHOULD be done, which is like those games. Star Fox is an on-rails arcade style shooter. That's what it's supposed to be, and that's what it should be. Anything else is about as pointless as making an R-Type game where you get out of the ship and run around as the pilot.

They could do an AMAZING SF game on Wii U, if they really wanted to. But they need to get off their asses and do games like that, F-Zero, and Wave Race for Wii U in-house. And personally, I really want to see all three on Wii U eventually.

The only people who would buy this are star fox fans wanting a nostalgia fix.

The franchise needs to evolve to the 21st century to even temp 2million people to buy it let alone expand the franchise.
