Wii had to much 3rd party support so Nintendo wasn't worried about getting games with a plane shooting (Star Fox), jetskie (Wave Race), snow boarding(1080Snowboarding), futuristic racing (F Zero), basketball(Courtside for N64). N64 and Gamecube didn't have the 3rd party support so Nintendo basically did everything themselves, since the Wii had 3rd party support to actually make games to take the spot of the games i listed above. If we don't see strong support by 3rd Parties in 2014, you would see IP's like Starfox, WaveRace, FZero, 1080 and even stuff like Courtside return.
