From what I can tell (outsider perspective, I know) - Barack Obama did nothing particularly wrong; he just couldn't get anything done in the country because Republicans in Congress always completely refused to agree to anything he suggested, and refused to compromise.

You're pretty much spot-on. Despite often being thought of as the most powerful person in the country, the President actually can't create any laws, and there's very little he can do unilaterally. He can say "I'll promise you X, Y, and Z," but regardless of whoever is President they can't fulfill their promises even if they wanted to unless the Congress actually puts a bill on his desk that he can sign into law, and the way Congress is right now they're extremely unproductive as a legislative body. In fact, this is perhaps the least productive Congress in history due to all the gridlock. It's always easiest to blame the President because he's the most high-profile politician in the country, but Congress bears perhaps the most blame. The President's powers are delineated in Article II of the U.S. Constitution, and as you'll see most of what he can do requires the approval of Congress. If Obama is guilty of anything, it's doing what most politicians do: promising things that they can't possibly fulfill on their own, if at all.

he hasnt helped to make congress work either. although he cant make law, he can sure influence his party, and influence the populace. but insteading of trying to bridge the gap and compromise, all he offers is doing it his way or the highway. look at how he has bypassed congress with the aca and its deadlines. what other president has done that? as far as i know its not even legal. but instead of working with congreess and extending deadlines, he says he will veto any change that congress makes to extend deadlines. and instead trys to do it outside the system. so while he doesnt control congress he still has some powers over them, and he has not used them to bridge the gap between dems and repubs, but insteead made the gap bigger. I think in 10-20 years, he will be remembered as one of the worst presidents, that made the divide between the upper, middle, and lower classes bigger, and created more class warefare instead of less.

90% of Americans wanted a Gun Control Bill pass, and it couldn't even pass the Senate.

The problem isn't Obama, because its been proven that it's Corporations and their lobbyist that have more power then the president.

Bush got everything done' because he did as other corporations told him to, which is why the income inequality gap grows when Republicans control the Executive branch + Congress + Senate. The Republican Party is nothing but whores who sell themselves out to corporations all the time, and this has been proven with their actions these past 30 to 100 years.

Source. I need to see how you ever obtained a fact like that. That literally isn't possible based on the number of actual gun owners and every poll I ever seen besides msnbc. Unless you mean background checks which isn't 90% either. I don't usually accuse someone of misinformation but this is example of one if there ever was an example.
