I didn't use the stand, it's still in the gamebox. But the high sensitivity fixed the major problem I had with the controls which was the sluggish and slow movement of the camera.

hmm, I think I might try changing the sensitivity and give it another go. Did you not find it difficult to play without the stand?

Nah, the control layout is very similiar to Metroid Prime Hunters on the DS which I spent hours playing multiplayer with friends, so I guess I got used to it. Unfortunately just like MPH, Kid Icarus broke my L button so I need to get a new 3DS sometime.

how long did it take you to get used to the control, if you don't mind me asking? I think it might be because I've  become too accustomed with traditional controls that I'm now reluctant to change the way I play.

I spent a bit of time maybe like 10 to 15 minutes in the game's practice mode for land battles just to get used to the camera, movement and attacking and after that I was set.
