Calling it now: NPD will show yet again that WiiU+3DS are being overtracked in the US.
Everything else is still a mystery

why? WiiU was pretty much spot on in november and 3ds numbers are down by a lot yoy (if I remember correctly).

No, WiiU was overtracked by something like 50k (around 23% iirc), while 3DS was WAY off. Now ioi has adjusted 3DS up yet again, despite lifetime 3DS sales in America being 700k too high, and in the UK it is 500k too high.

WiiU was overtracked by 25k. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=174214

3DS was way off, but it's numbers did look way off from the start. 300k (in the US) for the second week of december is far from impossible. I actually thought 900k globally was low for 3ds this week. Is it actually tracking below 2012's december so far?

Oh, yeah. But WiiU had recently been adjusted down before the NPD thread was even made.

3DS will be significantly down in Japan in December so it's not hard to believe that the same will be true WW

Yea, but if we take the sales of week ending december 15th 2012, the 3DS had sold 318k in the US. This year (week ending december 14 2013) shows that it only sold 309k units. If anything, with pokemon and the 2DS release, I would have thought that it's currently undertracked (for this specific week of course).

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M
