Huh? What model would they use? Pac-Man only has 1 3D model that has been updated throughout the years. Why wouldnt Nintendo use the most up to date version. All characters in Smash use the most current version.

As they changed Megaman to look more like he did during the NES days. Not very true that all characters in Smash use the most current model. Just saying that I doubt they would use the exact same one from one of his most unpopular games.

I know Zelda isn't using her Skyword Sword look, but that is because people would 1. Rage if SS Zelda could morph into Sheik since that Ninja Clan simply didn't exist in the timeline and 2. Rage even harder if she couldn't transform into Skeik arguably one of the best characters in Smash Brothers.

But who else isn't using their most recent model? Bowser has even stood more upright to look like he does in the chase boss fights of SM3DL/W There was also talk of the new generation looking pokemon Trainer appearing in place of the old G/S model.
