Now that you have to pay for PSN and the Xbox Live it is justified to compare the two networks.

None of my friends want a Xbox One (anywhere), they hate using the Xbox Live. Most people around my age just want to play. PlayStation has been around longer and offers a smoother, quicker experience than Xbox. PSN also has periods of down time while the Xbox Live does too. A lot of my friends are used to playing call of duty on PlayStation platforms so they will stick with PlayStation. I know about 6 people who bought PS4 units (including myself), only my cousin bought an Xbox One. PlayStation captures rights to first party content which will persuade people to buy a specific game on a PlayStation platform. If one person owns the game on PS4 all their friends will buy a PS4 to play with them. The Xbox Live feels lonely compared to PSN, people like to feel like they are a part of something like an online community....Also anyone has CLOUD!!

I agree with them (for different reasons than them) because them are them. The Xbox doesn't work with my roughtererer. The Xbox knocks out the internet in my house so I would never consider getting an Xbox (unless I can test drive it to see if it works). PlayStation platforms have always worked for me, so I'm sticking with it. In conclusion I think PS3/PS4 is GREAT for single player games, but if you want to play online get a PS4. Just my opinion...

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
