If we want to be technical... christmas is on the 25th, because according to the bible Jesús was born in the midnight of the 25th. But scientists say (I'm not sure about this) he was actually born around summer, but romans moved the date to december so it coincides with the winter solstice. And it's impossible for Santa to deliver the gifts, but christmas magic man!
