Man, I don't get Animal Crossing. Played it on Gamecube and didn't like it. My daughter on the other hand....she plans her life around that game. She leaves it on when she's not playing to watch the weather change. She listens to the music while she sleeps in the back seat of the car. Hell, one day we rode through the neighborhood with the music playing on my car stereo (via aux cable) because she lost her headphones.
Anyway, sorry about your loss. One thing about these systems--after you buy them, you make them your own. It would suck to have to start back over.
