As we all should know by now, Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS will be faster paced than  the more casual Smash Bros Brawl, but will be slower than the more hardcore Smash Bros Melee. This made a lot of people happy knowing that the floaty  gameplay  of Brawl won't return in Smash Bros Wii U... People became even happier when they heard that you could do combos ( This was said by Sakurai)

However, some Smash Bros Melee fanatics went ape shit when they found out that  L-cancelling will most likely not be in Smash Bros Wii U..... Even more when they found out that SBWIIU will use the airdodge from Brawl which means that wavedashing goes bye-bye.... A good chunk  of the Melee fans  also hated the Brawl airdodge because it could be used  multiple times in the air and because doing combos was impossible thanks to a weird glitch..

Combos will be in Smash Bros Wii U, but other problems of the Brawl airdodge will still be in Smash Bros Wii U.... Dash dancing which is an awesome mechanic will most likely return, because tripping ( the  best  fucking mechanic ever in a fighting game) is not going to be in the next Smash Bros game..

What do you think? Are you mad that Smash Bros 4 is not gonna be a Melee clone or are you happy that Smash Bros Wii U will bring out a nice balance between the two games?

The great thing about fighting gamers is they know how to adapt....

they will complain but still adapt to the changes....

casual in the other hand... either dont know the difference or just wont adapt to the change....

so no, i dont see a lot of problem with it... just have to learn the new mechanics
