I think Brawl will have a better first week than Halo 3 if you look at the world wide first weeks. Halo 3 had a little less than 3.8 million sales world wide its first week.
Brawl had about 1 million in Japan, and will have more than a million in Europe surely. If it has 1.8 million in the US, I think we can suspect it will have a better world wide first week than Halo 3.
And, of course, it will have better legs. It's a better game, after all. It has more polish and quality and content.
