Why Platinum?, how many shooters have they created? they make great action games, but those have been more close combat action like Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta, not spaceship shooters. Unless you want a Star Fox Adventures kind of game but with more action and combat in it. I still say give Star Fox to Treasure, I am sure that they would create a great game at a very cheap price, and with some real $$$ behind it maybe they can create an epic scale game also. |
Treasure is tiny, like 20 people and nowhere near able to make a big Star Fox game, they could maybe make a downloadable title, in fact I think almost all their recent games after Sin and Punishment were downloadable games. On rail shooters are not the hardest games to make and I have no doubt Platinum could pull it off. Actually I think Wonderful 101 had some on rail sections.
