They won't mistake it... but it still devalues Zelda's image IF it's buggy and terrible.

If it proves to be that bad of a game, then I agree, but really don't see anything diastrous happening here - particularly when the gameplay will be apparent to the vast majority of people as a spin-off rather than another company's take on the true franchise (ala Other M).
