I disagree with this statement.

1080p without AA look just as bad as 720p without AA.

 

Ill admit "arent noticable" is false, barely noticable is a more accurate statement. "Just as bad" however is not the case. When scaled down to 720p like those DK screenshots they are barely visible.

720p on PC with no aliasing (MW 2010). PS3 version has AA

 

1080p on PC with no aliasing (MW 2010). Noticeable but not o the same extent. In gameplay videos/scaled down to 720p they would be barely noticable unlike DKs
