No idea how many people do but the option is there for them. I have two friends who use controllers on PC games. One uses wired and the other wireless. I'm pretty sure if the game is on PC and was originally designed around using a controller then it will be set-up for a range of controller options. Hell, it might even be possible to use the PS4 controller though that may require some type of special driver. The only thing that may be lacking on a non-X1 controller is if the game uses the Impulse Triggers but from what I've heard, and this may be wrong, not all developers are making use of that feature. Even if that is the case, the question then becomes; is a little more vibration more important than potentially better visuals? I say potentially since we don't actually know how the different versions stack up yet. |
True, that's an interesting question. Which we might not know that answer for a few months. If they add the impluse triggers to the PC version as an option for people with an Xbox One conroller. Then that 'should' be the best version of the game. (best graphics and gameplay.)
But as someone who is on their 2nd playthrough of Ryse, I would say yes to the extra feedback (rumble triggers) being more important than a bost in visuals. The visuals in Ryse are delicious and tasty. I was watchig my friend play the new Tomb Raider on the 360 and it was so aparrent how much of a leap this next gen is. But having the rumbls in Ryse give something extra to the game. Like extra flavor that just makes it better.
