You have to define all of these terms. It's also the "quality" part that concerns me.

If we define quality as sales then everything becomes simple. We can infer quality from sales and vice versa. I can say that that quality and sales are one in the same because people go out of there way to give something of value in exchange for a product. The market is always looking for quality in a product and quality is once again defined by the market. 

Fair enough. I'm just trying to keep the bases covered on these blanket negative statements. There's nothing wrong with having a bad opinion of something, but it has to be defensible.

My statement was not intended to be to trash nintendo and their franchises but to merely paint the reality. It's sad to see nintendo lose greatness such as the WII into something horrific such as the WII U because I owned a WII and and not a PS360. You can not say that each iteration from nintendo are of the same quality much like many of the hardcore gamers because it's clear that many saw alot of quality in mario kart WII compared to mario kart double dash.
