You stay away from those two DS games.  OoT 3D or Link Between Worlds.  Those are your options.

Yeah, be a shame for someone to jump in at what I consider the worst entries (excluding CD-i).

I would start with Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time for base and then check out...pretty much everything else besides aforementioned DS titles.
