Dark Souls 2 gets live action teaser for “live action event”
Dark Souls 2′s latest teaser is a bit more mysterious than usual; it ends with the words “Dark Souls 2: a live action event – 2014″. We have no idea if this is just one of the franchise’s notoriously odd catchphrases or if something very exciting is going down next year, but the teaser is gorgeous and atmospheric and well worth a look anyway.

Warhammer Online has officially shuttered
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, which launched in 2008, is no more. The EA Mythic-developed MMO closed its doors overnight, forever ending its ambitions of true realm-vs-realm warfare and other delightful concepts imported from former project Dark Age of Camelot but sadly wasted on a generation whose brains pointed due WoW. The dream has died; go to your rest, uncrowned king. Or, you know, hang around as your ridiculously interesting indie spiritual successor, whatever.

Marvel Heroes: $129.99 DLC pricing isn’t setting any precedent, says dev
Marvel Heroes developer Gazillion Entertainment unveiled two advance DLC packs, priced $129.99 and $99.99. The content adds new villains and boosters into the mix once they’re ready between 2014 and 2015, and as such come with no release date. The studio has responded to VG247 on the matter.
