I remember a report from an "insider" on this that said that the XBone family share plan was actually just ~60 minute demos of the games in your library.

Otherwise lots of people would download games and give them out to 10 people and drastically reduce potential sales.

That's not true. A MS exec confirmed it was full games shared with 10 people in a "Family" list.

sure, "full games" in that all the assets of the game are on your console. You still only get to play 60 minutes of it. It's like PS+s "full game trial" where the "full game" is on your HDD, so you can play any aspect of it, but once the timer hits 60:00:0, you don't get to play anymore

PS+ is not family sharing. So why compare them? Plus look at Ryuu96

I never said PS+ was family sharing. I was comparing XBLs "family sharing" with PS+s "full game trials" with regard to how "full games" are applied. It was made clear by Sony how their plan worked and was dubious at best when MS described their plan, but at the end of the day, CBOAT said you get the "full game" because it's completely on your HDD, so you can play any aspect of the game, but it cuts off after an hour, like PS+s trials go.

But I responded to Ryuu96 and conceded since it was sourced from Greenberg, although I'm still skeptical that you could just give out 10 whole games with no consequence, especially because MS never said you could do that. They were always vague until after what CBOAT said spread over the internet/media after game sharing was eliminated, and were still vague, actually, in the end. From Ryuu96s post, Greenberg said "it was as we described it" but they never adequately described how it worked
