Battlefield 4: second class-action law suit filed against EA over quality concerns
Another law firm has sought legal action against Battlefield 4 publisher EA on behalf of its investors. It essentially mirrors last week’s claims that EA mis-led investors over the quality and projected performance of DICE’s shooter, and the bugs that followed its launch.

Magicka: Wizard Wars' combatants are hooked on crystal
CommentWizards, much like magpies, are always on the lookout for something new and shiny, so Paradox North has given the murderous, psychopathic spell-flingers of Magicka: Wizard Wars - a game we're rather fond of - some pretty baubles to collect. These are no mere ornaments, though; we're talking about elemental crystals that unlock powerful Magicks. Tools of devastation, then.
And since it's Christmas, the imps are wearing Santa hats and festive cheer permeates throughout the blood-soaked battlefield. Awww, lovely.
Stay in with Starcraft II's Arcade Holiday Marathon
CommentUnless you live down south, the holiday season is probably a cold and bleak time for you, where sleet and snow and drunk family members keep you stuck indoors. Blizzard understands this, presumably, which is why its hosting The Holiday Arcade Marathon on Friday, December 20 from 10AM to 10PM PST.
The Blizzard Community Team will be messing around online all day, and "special guests" from the Starcraft community will be popping in for shenanigans. A full schedule of events will be posted near the end of the week.
Video with a Vampire: Watch humans and vampires not get along in Nosgoth
Comments1Every time I hear about Nosgoth, the hole in my chest that was once filled by Legacy of Kain gets larger. It's not the game we dreamed of, but team-based PvP can be a hoot, so it might still be worth making room for. Nosgoth is going to be entering closed beta soon (and you can register for a chance to play now), and to celebrate, Square Enix and Psyonix have put together a trailer filled with throats being ripped out and head-exploding arrows. Oh my.
Meet Minecraft's in-game 3D printer, powered by redstone and too much brains
CommentSince the early days of Minecraft, some of Creative Mode’s more scale-tacular achievements have been built with outside help. This one-to-one model of the Starship Enterprise, for instance, was sketched out in 3D modelling software first before its creator imported the vectors into the game, deck by deck. Community opinion is divided on their legitimacy of these creations as Great Works.
There’s no question about the creative capabilities of ItsJustJumby, though - the man behind this in-game Minecraft 3D printer.
To infinity, and beyond beta: Starbound's future holds space combat and meteor showers
Comments8Meteor showers, space combat and NPCs who get wealthier as their surroundings become more opulent - just three of the ump-hundred intended updates for Starbound, the already bewilderingly intricate survival game from indie outfit Chucklefish. The developers have laid out their plans for all to see and decide: are they best laid, or could they be unfolded still further?
