Your first point was was about games not being an issue on the WII U but it clearly is an issue because none of the games so far warrant a purchase of the WII U. The reason people bought the WII was mostly because of first party titles. Third party titles have never being away for nintendo to win. 

Well the Wii did pretty good early on without many 1st party titles.

 

Twilight Princess was the main 1st party game they had and it was already on GC. New Super Mario Bros was good enough.

if this was the case then why didn't people buy the N64 and GC for the first party? There were quality titles on N64 AND GC so what was their excuse?
