First of all, the Wii has netflix, her kindle fire probably has netflix, nowadays everything has netflix. And signstar is one among a truckload of karaoke games, some easily found on Wii. The reasons they are using the PS3 is not for games, and so it validates my  point. The Wii and WiiU are simply not offering them what the Wii initially did.

And also the fact that you prefer the PS3 makes their choice of where they watch netflix more easy, keep 1 console under the tv it's easier.

1) The Wii's Netflix is horibly slow and laggy.  

2) Singstar is THE best kareoke game.  I have seen others, and I understand why Sony dominates this niche market.

3) They also use the PS3 for Buzz Quiz, video chatting, and Home.  Things the Wii ALSO doesn't have.

 

The Wii offered a new gimic that allowed non gamers to play games.  Touch screens have taken over now and can entertain the kids just as well.  You asked what we thought, and that is what I think.  You can say "It isn't true," but the fact is the sales of the Wii U show that whatever people wanted from the Wii, it isn't in the Wii U.

If you get out of the Wii U what you got out of the Wii.  Then Kudoes!  But there are not many of you...
