Nintendo will outlast both of them as far as gaming goes because they make IP themselves, in house...and those IP don't fade. So when consoles and handhelds die, their games will move onto whatever they need to and will thrive.
Sony BUYS studios, and then calls them first party so that security isn't there. Plus, with the exception of GT, nothing has really stayed popular from one generation to the next. Mario has been around since I was in a crib in the early 80's. Sony has never had anything like that, so the future doesn't bode as well for them.
Microsoft is basically a business. They run everything like a business and the bottom line is all they're after. Like Sony, they don't actually HAVE internal studios but rather studios that they bought and assembled. They're sort of cold and souless and they take that approach with the gaming industry. So, as soon as the bubble starts to pop, they will jump onto something else.
As far as companies, Sony is in the worst position because they don't have Window OS like MS and they don't make software like Nintendo. Once the traditional console industry starts to fade and transfer toward something else, what will they do? Make Walkmen? They're going to be in trouble imo.
