The PS3's only real problem was the ridiculous $600 price point because of Blu-Ray being shoe-horned into the system.
Once the price inevitably dropped, the sales pretty much immediately stabilized.
The PS3 for example sold 440k its second November in North America ... the Vita is around 70k its second November.
That is *horrific*.
