Nobody is denying profitability. But it certainly shows a decline in the franchise.

How so? that's like saying another GT can never get higher than another, you can show a trend in a way, but you also have to take into account, that you have incomplete data backing up your trend. where is the digital sales tracking? would you say, there is more people download direct copy's of a game to the Internal Hard Drive than there were say a year ago? what is the % chance, we have no idea, but that's is the thing, these systems are not static, the software sales physical is not the only thing that can change, now digital sales can also change. More online quick Access to online purchase of content is now there, remember Sony also is now open up a store on amazon

I mean that's now new for playstation, its one thing to say we can track sales data, but its another that can you track sales data through digital stores?

Anybody can dig up excuses. In todays age, anything and everything can be used as a explanation. I doubt PS3 became the digital purchase haven overnight....because it never was.

Look, sometimes these things happen. Its late in the gen, the next gen launched, GT5 sales are saturated and maybe msot don't want to upgrade unless its on PS4. It is any number of factors, but when I say decline, it means the sales are lower then that of GT5. Simple. No excuses. There are plenty. Just deal that the results are what they are.

No big deal, if anything it just means Polyphany just has to try harder next time if they want that 10 million instead of 5 million.
