I don't think PS4 demand is as high as we are lead to believe.

Both are selling really well. Both are shattering previous sales records. The ps4 is doing more so. The ps4 is not available anywhere right now, and it sold more than 2 million in 2 weeks. On top of that, there are millions of backorders in the US alone. The demand for the ps4 is MASSIVE. I think it also needs to be mentioned that the only ps4 you showed that was done with bidding had sold for 24% higher than standard price. Every other one posted was still in bidding.
