While 4:1 does seem off, it's not completely impossible. The X1 does have more stock in the US, so naturally it's waiting list will be shorter. Along with the PS4 having a higher demand (based on the rate it sells out every time units come in), we can guess it's at least around 1.5:1/2:1.


But you can't talk about demand for anything until you know the stock numbers they recieve.

There isn't enough to be sure of anything, but plenty to talk about it. For example we know that the PS4 sold a million units in it's first 24 US hours, and the X1 sold that amount in it's first 24 world wide hours. Based on that i know the US demand was defiantly higher for the PS4 at launch. And while i have no definite way of knowing if that is still the case, i can, based on those constant sell outs, assume that is the still the case. At the very least it shows us the demand for the PS4 is higher than it's present sales.

So while there isn't enough for me to state much as fact, there is plenty to make educated guesses and assumption (which is what my 1.25:1/1.5/1 was, hence i said "we can guess" in my last comment).
